Introductions/check-in –  how is everyone doing? *QUICK GROUP HOWL* to kick off the meeting.  Also a fond farewell to Anna Johanson at 84th, we wish her all the best!

               

Covid Reflections-

Christina Zarza is requesting reflections from all staff on life in the midst of COVID.  If you have not already received an email in this regard, you should within the next 1-2 days.  Please send this 3-4 sentence reflection directly to Christina at christinazarza@centura.org

 

Scheduling and Telehealth Visits – Troubleshooting

 Scheduling visits - in-person versus Telehealth

Are ratios of providers at home vs in clinic appropriate?

Do we need more in-clinic access in your pod/clinic?

Scheduling parameters- Frail/elderly high risk in early mornings, lower/mod risk throughout day, respiratory symptoms 4 -5pm.  Also Mondays for WCC, OB, etc

How is this going? New ideas?

Telehealth visits and clinic prep -

How is this going in your pod? 

Ideas to improve communication and planning for appts?

Reminder - first choice Amwell, second choice alternate video platform (Doximity, Doxy-me, Zoom, etc), third choice telephone

Seeing patients with respiratory symptoms or positive Covid-19 test for in-person visits

Virtual visits preferred but may need in-person visit

No swabs or respiratory procedures/nebs

Scheduled from 4-5pm (3-4pm if needed)

Covid Care at Home in process – plan for virtual visit/calls to monitor pts at home

  

Increasing visit numbers -

Providers looking back at their schedules, messaging MA pool to schedule visits

Running reports in Epic for various diagnoses, panels, etc

Stopping Curbside Visits

Ideas to streamline MA visits, lab draws etc in your clinic/pod?

Minimize pt wait times and contact w front desk, etc for INRs, BP checks, etc
