Phone Update Reminder - Phones were updated last week with the following changes -

Prioritization of calls for each clinic

·         Each clinic will have designated resources to answer their calls as priority #1

New Phone Tree

·         Note: the option for a call to ring directly into a pod has been removed

·         MA voicemails to be removed

 

Virtual visits update -

Orchard clinic will be piloting Epic platform (Twilio?), may be better than Amwell.

Will be useful for Covid care at home

Still prioritize Video visits, encourage for all pts w surge in Covid-19

 

Managing Covid at Home Update-

Growing with current surge

R2s helping, can use more help, moonlighting option 9-1 on-site on weekends, could also help w patient calls

 

Rapid testing update -

Strep testing may be coming in clinic w self-swabbing - use cautiously

Reagent for Covid-19 testing still in short-supply, not available in clinic or ED setting right now

 

Drive-through testing update - options, adding flu tests

 

Creative Holiday Plans are in the works
