Covid vaccine update

Hospital providers are getting vaccine this week!

Still need to socially distance and wear masks even after vaccination

Clinic providers and staff are in the 3rd tier available in the coming weeks (exact dates TBD)

Patients will be vaccinated according to state guidelines when vaccine is available

Holiday updates

·         Clinic staff gift cards went out this week (combined gift from providers, RNs, pharmacists, dental hygienist, diabetic educators) 

We have an amazing staff and we appreciate you this year more than ever!

·         Socks are available for everyone at your clinic

·         Cookie decorating kits are coming this afternoon and tomorrow

JOIN US for a Cookie Decorating Extravaganza on Zoom Friday 12/18 at 6pm!

Ugly sweater and cookie decorating contest with prizes!

·         GOOSECHASE - competition underway on the app, lots of prizes available, join in!

·         Any other treats at your clinic :)

 

QI update

Update on Resident QI projects and other PDSA cycles in your pod

 

Scheduling reminder-

When scheduling a patient appointment, please do not override session limits for providers!

This is important for patient safety and ongoing access

 

Phone updates

·         New message for pod lines -

If patients call the pod line they cannot leave a message.  A recording redirects them to call back on the main number.

·         Hold message updated - removed out-dated clinic times and phone numbers

If you have examples of patients on hold for long periods of time, please give info about the call to Bryanna or your clinic supervisor

·         Main phone tree message for 84th and 144th now includes a message for Thornton patients advising them to call back on the Thornton number

·         Questions?

 

Curbside Labcorp Covid testing!

Will be rolling out at 144th

Patients self-swab nose in their car, can also get temp and pulse ox on request

Church Ranch has added access, more appts and weekends as well

 

Schedule changes - Alberta will be gone 12/23 through 1/4  - please contact practice managers for last-minute scheduling changes, sick days, etc. during that time
