Residency Clinics Scheduling Guideline Review – please review attached document
New – Resident non-urgent schedule changes to faculty advisor, then follow attached guideline
-This will decrease burden of messages/emails to Jenn and Alberta while short-staffed
MA should not be blocking schedules themselves, please get guidance from clinic manager/supervisor

Patient Access Issues
Some providers have noted increase in new patients scheduled per half-day –
Rachael looking into change in Epic session limits
Centura is looking at Access issues system-wide - data collection phase is complete. Data being analyzed, creating action plans, goal to adjust templates for next fiscal year (July 2022)
Same day appointments – try not to book ahead of time, keep overrides for truly urgent issues.
Encourage communication between MA's and providers on using same day vs blocked slot vs postponing visit
Same day clinics at 84th starting in June - one half-day daily
Review of quality metrics by pod – see attached
Patient experience – current strategies to improve, using names of care team, other ideas?
Mammograms – pre-visit planning, giving number to call to schedule, other strategies?

Other metrics you'd like to discuss?

Other troubleshooting around this? – can try to coordinate box coverage with re-empanelment when possible
Sharing best-practices –
What are things that are going especially well in your pod/clinic? Think of specific examples to share with the team!
Examples – best ways to handle phone messages or results, signing patients up for portal (send them text during the visit!), ways team members work well together when short-staffed, etc
