Hello!

 

So, this week is looking a bit chilly.  To make sure to enjoy the outdoors before it gets cold and we have to zoom all winter, I think we should move book club to Thursday, 9/17.  I hope everyone can still make it (and, you have an extra week to read the book!) 

 

As a reminder, we will be discussing So You Want to Talk About Race - Ijeowa Ilua. 

 

 

You have some more time to vote on location/food; please let me know if you haven’t voted yet, or would like to change your vote.

 

1. Anthem Park, just north of the hospital (where we had the last book club), with food from Ras Kassa’s Ethiopian restaurant in Lafayette.
2. Green Valley Ranch town center park (in Northeast Denver), with food from African Grill and Bar (West African/Ghanian/Nigerian food).
