Postponing routine labs, doing more POC testing – A1c POC cartridges temporarily on backorder

Resolution in April?

 

Covid vaccine and testing Update - Rachael

Vaccine supply steady

Testing - rapid still in short supply, order PCR

Antiviral Meds - Beth

Link in Epic for availability at hospital pharmacies

Molnupiravir

Paxlovid - best evidence, renal dosing, check for med interactions, BID for 5 days

Sotrovimab - short supply

Evusheld -preventative

 

Circs temporarily on hold at 84th - working on standardizing trays/equipment - Beth

  

Resident numbers and specialty clinics - Beth

Peds clinics - moving to Mondays at all clinics

Adding in acute visits when schedule doesn't fill

In person visits- 3rd years still getting Telehealth visits

 

Phones update - Rachael

Call center is trying to limit calls that get put through to pods to more urgent issues, doctors calling, etc.  If not urgent can take a message in Epic

Bat lines still an option for urgent matters

Improved staffing will help as well

RE: September Book Club 9/10
