Clinic Update – September 2019 (Note: some updates were on the agenda for POD meetings last week so you may have already seen those)   Flu shot update : Limited numbers of VFC flu shots are in for Thornton and 84th, other flu shots are here as well! Ask patients if they would like flu shots when they are here for visits as we are doing very limited flu clinics this year   Epic Message Reminder - Please don't send Epic messages straight to MAs-- some are part time and may not be here for days and weeks. Hi All – This is the latest clinic OB workflow, please review.  This is different than the workflow we had previously discussed – the first visit will be 20 minutes with the second visit as a 40 minute visit. Let us know if you have questions, thanks.       All pregnant patients or patients who think they are pregnant get scheduled for  a 20 minute confirm pregnancy exam.   The 20 minute visit will include: ·          Pregnancy Test ·          Labs ·          Prescription for prenatal vitamins ·          Setup of 2 nd – 40 minute visit – which will be timed to include an ultrasound - 8-12 weeks ·          Provide Financial handout – See attached docum...
